Time for Bed by Mem Fox

Summary:  Time for Bed by Mem Fox drew my in by the picture of a ewe and her lamb together on the front.  My 2nd daughter, Abby, has a well-loved lamb who is a requirement for bed, so just seeing these sheep made me think of bedtime.  The book is very simple, yet teaches animal names with their corresponding babies.  I enjoyed the easy rhythm to this book and found it very relaxing to read.

Pros: A calming bedtime story with a bit of learning added in.

Cons: I would have liked the illustrations to be more clear.

Age Range: Infant – 7
